Please join us for this relaxing Sunday ride to Bela Bela. The details are:

Date: Sunday 3 June 2018
Departure: 07:30 for 08:00
Departure from: BP Centurion near Makro
Direction: Bela Bela, Via Hammanskraal, Dikoneng Game Reserve
Road surface: Good tar with no potholes. Speedbumps in the Dikoneng Nature Reserve
Distance: 135 km
Estimated ride time: 2-3 hours with one stop at Safari Supermark in the Dikoneng Nature Reserve (Has a fuel station)
Venue: De Dekke at the Bela Bela Waterfront. The top terrace has been booked for us and it is covered as seen on the picture. Parking in front of the venue has been arranged with the manager
Type of breakfast: Can order from a menu – Waiters have been arranged to ensure that the service is speedy
Pillion friendly: Yes.

Route: Travel for 60 km on the N1 north
Turn off at the Hammanskraal turn of left and then right onto the bridge over the N1 for 500m
Left into the Dikoneng Game Reserve and follow the road (a lot of speedbumps)
Turn left at the T junction after 35 km
Follow the road and turn right at the T junction on the R101 to Bela Bela
Follow the road for 30 km and the eatery the De Dekke will be on your left hand side

Return: The R101 back (old Pretoria road)
The N1 back with two tollgates
The same route as travelled when going there

Toll gates:Yes. There is one on the N1 for R11.50 and one at the Hammanskraal turn off for R24.90
